The qualification period for First Aid is 3 years however in order to ensure that First Aiders are following the latest and most relevant guidance the HSE strongly recommends that refresher training for is completed annually.

• Primary Assessment

• Recovery position

• Resuscitation

• Wounds and Bleeding

• Chain of Survival

*Please note this refresher course can only be completed by those that have already attended a 3

day course within the last 12 months.
